HIKING
Shiga Kogen is located in the heart
of Nagano Joshinetsu National Park. Colorful wildflowers are abundant
throughout the year and autumn is even more beautiful. Over 20 trails are
located high up in the mountains at an elevation of 1500 to 2300 meters.
*Nature Discovery Trail (Shizen Tansho Course): 5.5km, approximately 2 hours
hiking time
*Lake Trail (Ike-meguri Course): 10.3km, approximately 3.5 hours hiking time
*Other Trails: Ichinuma Lake Trail, Yokoteyama Panorama Trail, Seseragi Trail.
These trails can be completed in half an hour and are perfectly suitable for
family hiking |

JIGOKUDANI YAEN PARK (WILD MONKEY PARK)
The wild snow monkeys at
Jigokudani Park are famous for their hilarious winter visits to hot springs. It
is located 15 minutes by bus and 30 minutes on foot from our hotel. |
