CLOCK TOWER

The predecessor to the University of Hokkaido, and built in 1878 as an extension Sapporo Agricultural College, the clock tower has become the quintessential symbol of Sapporo. Located in the very heart of the city, the clock tower's bells have rung for more than 120 years (longer than any other clock tower in Japan), and the building itself has been established as an important national cultural asset. A destination for many tourists, the grounds offer a commemorative photo spot for the picture of a lifetime.

SNOWMOBILE LAND SAPPORO
Come to Snowmobile Land Sapporo, the largest snowmobile tour company outside North America. Every day in winter from December through end of March, Snowmobile Land Sapporo is open and offers a fleet of snowmobiles to satisfy any gear head.
We have two courses to suit all levels with a total length of 90km, and exploring Sapporo's frozen hills by snowmobile offers an unusual experience of excitement and solitude. You can stop in the quiet winter landscapes and great views of Sapporo, or fulfil your need for speed by tearing down open trails. Tours range from 60 minutes to 90 minutes.
